Shipping Policy

This policy applies to all orders shipped from The Daily Edit. As a solo-operated business, I prioritize safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery while ensuring complete transparency.
1. Processing Time
Orders placed Monday–Friday before 3 PM EST are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days.
Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the next business day.
For any pre-order or custom items, the estimated ship date will be clearly noted on the product page.
2. Shipping Carriers & Methods
I partner with reliable carriers including USPS, FedEx, and UPS. The carrier and method are selected based on your destination, delivery speed, and service reliability for your location.

4. Shipping Fees
Continental U.S.: Enjoy free shipping on all orders over $50. For orders under $50, a flat rate of $4.95 applies.
Alaska & Hawaii: A flat shipping fee of $9.95 applies to all orders.
International: Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the destination and package weight.
5. International Shipping Considerations
For orders shipped outside the United States:
The customer is solely responsible for any and all customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees imposed by the destination country.
Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate, including a valid phone number and email for customs clearance purposes.
Some countries have restrictions on certain items (e.g., batteries, liquids). It is the customer’s responsibility to be aware of and comply with their country’s import regulations.
6. Returns, Exchanges, & Undeliverable Packages
If an error was made on my part (e.g., wrong or defective item sent), I will cover the cost of return shipping.
For customer-initiated returns or exchanges, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Packages returned to me as “undeliverable” due to an incorrect or insufficient address provided by the customer will require payment of a reshipping fee to be sent out again.
7. Risk & Liability
Once the package is handed over to the shipping carrier and a tracking number is issued, responsibility for the shipment transfers to the customer and the carrier.
I am not liable for delays caused by weather, carrier processing, customs inspections, or other events beyond my control.
I am not liable for packages lost or stolen after the carrier’s tracking shows “delivered.”
I am not liable for any items seized, held, or rejected by customs authorities in the destination country.
8. Order Tracking & Support
All orders include a tracking number sent via email once the label is created. Please contact me immediately if:
The tracking shows “delivered” but you have not received the package.
The package appears to be damaged upon delivery.

I reserve the right to update this shipping policy at any time. The most current version, as indicated by the “Last Updated” date, will always apply to new orders placed thereafter.
